The amended motion results from disclosures since the meeting (18 Jun 08) of an alleged quid pro quo between Jeremy Dear, NUJ General Secretary and the author’s member of parliament, Gareth R Thomas MP (Harrow West), Minister of State, Department for International Development which revealed a distinct conflict of interest.
